Following a successful debut in Dubai, this global series is foraying into APAC region on 17 – 18 July with a titillating line-up of global AI experts, investors, startups, AI technology providers and key government authorities from the region.
Date, Singapore: The World AI Show Series is set to make its historic foray into the Asia Pacific (APAC) region with the event set to touch down in the island nation of Singapore, taking place on 17 – 18 July at the luxurious Marina Bay Sands Hotel. The two-day show is hosted by global business events and consulting firm Trescon.
The world is in the midst of a massive, long-term shift in wealth, economic power and population growth from West to East. The decision to host the show in Singapore comes in the wake of the government fueling their own desire and ambition to make the country a hub of technological innovations, in the entire APAC zone. In the digital world, government functions will be ‘co-created’ with citizens, on their own or working with others. And it is evident that only embracing smart future technology will make it possible.
From Singapore government launching the AI strategy, to Alibaba investing 15 billion USD into emerging & developing technologies, the future of industry 4.0 looks very promising in APAC region.
World AI Show aims to catapult these developments and provide a platform for budding startups and entrepreneurs in Singapore, as well as the entire Asia Pacific region, to get connected to the global demand and secure business goals for growth.
One of the key investor attending the show, Joel KO from Marvelstone said in an interview, “I want to acknowledge the importance of the US and China as global AI hubs; that is something we cannot ignore. But at the same time, I want to advocate a stronger awareness of important regional leaders in Asia such as Singapore. These economies will be the engines of growth for much of Asia over the next decade and it’s important they take on leading roles in AI. World AI Show is a wonderful opportunity to showcase those leading and meaningful efforts from Asian regions.”
Notable investors attending the show include Fenox Venture Capital, Marvelstone, B Capital Group, Monk’s Hill Ventures, Golden Gate Ventures, WeMerge, Nikaia Ventures, Zeroth.AI and many more.
